Thursdays $60 million Australian Powerball jackpot has been won by a single ticket holder. The winning numbers picked were 4, 11, 19, 28, 3, 5, 7 and the Powerball number was 6.
According to lottery officials, the lucky ticket-holder who is yet to be named is a young woman in her twenties from Sydney.
The magnitude of the $60 million win doesn't end there though because the winner also played PowerHit and won division two 19 times, meaning her total prize increased to an incredible $60,683,656.95.
Ticket sales reached record heights for the draw on Thursday. The giant jackpot prize had been rolling over for four weeks with no winners.
Other big Australian Powerball winners include $80 million shared by two winners in 2009. Two winners shared $50 million in 2018 and on 17th January 2019 one lucky woman from Sydney matched all the numbers drawn to win a massive $107,575,649.08.
Powerball Australia gives players one chance to win each week with the draw taking place on Thursday evenings at 20.30 local time.
If you are playing from outside Australia, remember to check the time difference from the country you are playing from so you don't miss your chance to win big.
